89 an hour 11 days ago 11 days ago 11 days ago Duties - Process payroll for employees accurately and timely - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations - Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity - Calculate and process deductions, taxes, and garnishments - Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters - Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues - Generate payroll reports for management review - Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation, 1095c preparation of Federal and state payroll taxes.
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role - Proficient in data entry and payroll software (e.
g.
, ADP, Paychex, Ceridian) ERA Ignite preferred but not required) - Strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles - Knowledge of debits and credits and account reconciliation processes - Familiarity with accounting software and systems (ERA Ignite preferred but not required.
Microsoft 365, - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately - Solid understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements - Experience with accounts payable is a plus - Fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in English and Spanish Note:
