00 Job Description Morgan's in the Desert is looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Restaurant Cocktail Server to join our team! Cocktail Servers are the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers' experiences.
The cocktail server's responsibilities include speaking with customers, taking drink and food orders, making recommendations, processing payments, and ensuring that customers' needs are met and they have an excellent time.
You should be a skilled multi-tasker with a passion for customer satisfaction and knowledge of wines, beer, and cocktails.

Prepare the restaurant pre-shift for the service ahead Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant Guide guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests Be the master of the menu, understanding the details to enhance the conversation Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff Learning about food andd beverages, such as wine, beer, and cocktails in fine dinning restaurant.
Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation Additional Job Description Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality Someone who is descriptive and can sale Someone with 2-4 years of food service experience Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Someone with excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience may be preferred, especially if serving beverages in a fine dining establishment.
Ability to walk, stand, and carry heavy trays.
A friendly, attentive attitude.
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food.
Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol.
A passion for providing customers with high-quality service.
Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws.
Willingness to work at peak hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
