Records and processes payroll.
Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour, worker's compensation, and related laws.
Manages the health, retirement, and other benefits programs.
Receives and responds to employee concerns.
Assists in the management of the progressive discipline program Job Tasks Develops and places recruitment ads, screens applicants, and recommends candidates for employment Provides general property orientation for new employees Implements employee orientation and training programs Onboards employees in system software Develops and maintains job descriptions Maintains employee files Reviews and assists in updating the employee handbook Manages the group insurance, unemployment, and related benefits programs Communicates benefits information to staff Maintains current knowledge and ensures compliance with ever-evolving employment laws and regulations Assists department managers with professional development and training programs Assists with transfer, promotion, layoff, and termination strategies Creates and maintains organizational flowcharts Establishes employee motivation and retention programs Organizes employee activities and team building exercises Oversees all work-related injury claims to ensure integrity, on-going case management, and reporting compliance Performs special projects as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Compensation:
$65,000 - $75,000 depending upon qualifications, experience, and credentials
Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish and English Bachelor's Degree Preferred HR Certifications Preferred Reports to:
